Free things to do in the Shakespeare Garden at Golden Gate Park today:
Smell lavender plants along the woven red brick walkway.
Listen to excited seagulls begging for food at the Academy of Sciences' outdoor cafe.
See delicate pink and white cherry blossoms twinkling in the sunshine.
Smell and listen to the Spring breeze swoosh through the eucalyptus trees.
Feel the sun-warmed bronze and the raised numbers of the sun dial.
"O, how this spring of love resembleth
The uncertain glory of an April day;
Which now shows all the beauty of the sun,
And by and by a cloud takes all away."
-The Two Gentlemen of Verona

Melanie: You are a wonderful writer. If you are up to it, I'd like to get together when you're completed with the 40-day... only 10 more days!! I'm impressed.
ReplyDeleteHey Tracy- yes of course I would like to get together after my experiment. And yes, only 10 days to go, but I must admit I'm running out of steam. The last 10 days feel less inspired.
ReplyDeleteI just want to say I wish you could send some of that sun you speak of my way! : )
